I recently had the pleasure of working with my Modern Spaces colleague Troy Allen to complete a sale of business and new commercial lease for Zaruma Gold Coffee. The cafe is located at 4-46 46th Avenue right off of 11th Street, formerly the location of Communitea.
The cafe currently features sandwiches, empanadas, and pastries with an Ecuadorian lineage. Diana Aguilar, the cafe owner, has already had much success with her first cafe in DUMBO and decided to take a leap of faith and extend her reach to Long Island City.
The cafe features skylights and an open airy vibe. There is also a great covered outdoor seating area at the back of the cafe that will make a great space for parties and events.

I will post some pictures here after my next visit to the cafe, but in the meantime, enjoy this little video I made. Make sure to stop on by Zaruma Gold Coffee and enjoy the great food, coffee, and friendly staff!
